Aubrey Plaza, born on June 26, 1984 is a stand-up comedian and actor recognized for her witty humor. April Ludgate plays her on Parks and Recreation. She made her debut in The Jeannie Tate Show, a web series after performing improv comedy and sketches at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater Plaza. Aubrey Christina Plaza was born in Wilmington Delaware the daughter of attorney Bernadette Plaza and Financial Specialist David Plaza. Both her parents are both English/Irish and Puerto Rican. Plaza has graduated from an Catholic all-girls college in 2002, and then from the New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in 2006. The year she completed her senior year in high school, she was president of the student council at her Catholic all-girls school and was a part of Wilmington Drama League performances. Plaza had a stroke during her sophomore year in the college. It left her with an expressive aphasia aswell being paralyzed. She's now completely recovered. Since 2004, Plaza has been performing sketches and improv on The Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in New York City. Also, she's been performing stand-up comedy at The Laugh Factory and The Improv in N.Y.C. Plaza has appeared on E.S.P.N.'s Mayne Street and The Jeannie Tate Show as Robin Gibney as well as the debut episode of Terrible Decisions with Ben Schwartz. Troopers on CollegeHumor was where Plaza played the Princess in a satirical sci-fi roleplaying character. Plaza made her saxophone debut in Cassorla's Bona Fide in 2014. In 2012 she also made her debut on saxophone in Father John Misty's Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings. In 2016, Plaza appeared on HarmonQuest as Hawaiian Coffee a gnome. That following year, she was Aaron Burr on Drunk History and Cat Adams during Season 11 C.B.S. Criminal Minds. The actress made her triumphant return to the role in Season 12 of the show. In the following year, it was revealed that Plaza will be appearing in the comedy indie An Evening with Beverly Luff Linn.
